Demonstration session «Fire safety and emergency management»

The demonstration session ‘Fire Safety and Emergency Management’ becomes critically important in times of war, when the risks of emergencies increase significantly. It is in the ‘field’ conditions of simulated danger at the training ground that it is possible to demonstrate what new models of equipment and modern technologies for firefighting and rescue work in emergency situations are capable of. The relevance of the event is driven by the need to mobilise resources quickly and ensure readiness for new challenges, including fires, accidents at critical infrastructure facilities, damage to transport routes and other hazardous situations.

This demonstration session brings together professionals from various fields working in crisis situations and provides an opportunity to learn about the latest technologies for safe and effective response. The latest solutions, such as robotic systems for working in high-risk areas, tools for monitoring and evacuating victims, as well as technologies that ensure coordination of teams on the ground, help protect lives and help to quickly eliminate the consequences of emergencies.

The session is a valuable resource for representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, amalgamated territorial communities, volunteer teams, critical infrastructure enterprises, transport companies and forestry. It provides knowledge and tools that will help them act more effectively in crisis situations and protect infrastructure and the population from threats arising from military operations.

Participants will have the opportunity not only to learn about modern technologies, but also to discuss the coordination of efforts to improve overall security. This will help strengthen national preparedness and resilience in the current challenging environment.

Forum «Disaster Management in Times of War: Coordination, Technology and Risk Management»

In times of war, threats become not only more frequent, but also much larger and more complex. The War Emergency Management Forum aims to bring together experts to discuss methods of prevention, effective response and coordination to minimise losses among civilians and infrastructure. Military operations and shelling increase the burden on emergency services and critical infrastructure enterprises, so it is imperative to learn how to quickly adapt existing response algorithms, implement technologies that can ensure effective risk management in combat conditions, and coordinate the efforts of all involved services.

Forum objectives:

  • Discussing strategies for preventing and responding to emergencies in wartime – identifying approaches to identifying threats that reduce the likelihood of crisis situations at critical infrastructure facilities and in crowded areas.
  • Implementation of modern technologies and action algorithms – analysis and implementation of the latest technologies that increase the accuracy and speed of response, including navigation systems, personal protective equipment, automated alert and monitoring algorithms.
  • Organising effective coordination – developing clear protocols for interaction between government services, ATCs, volunteer teams and businesses to reduce decision-making time and rapidly deploy resources.
  • Organising effective coordination – developing clear protocols for interaction between government services, ATCs, volunteer teams and businesses to reduce decision-making time and rapidly deploy resources.
  • Informing and supporting the civilian population in the context of hostilities – identifying effective ways to communicate information to the population about emergency actions.
